Our History Executive Leadership Mission Statement

Our History

Cusp Dental Research was established in Manhattan, New York in 1990. Three years later, the company began to cultivate its client base throughout Massachusetts.

In 1995, Cusp opened its second laboratory in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2004, our two locations merged and based all operations in Boston. Although a great number of our clients are located in the Greater Boston and New York metropolitan areas, we have established a national reputation in precision and esthetics.

Our New England-based clients, to name a few, include Tufts Dental School, Boston University, and Harvard Dental School. We also service many renowned doctors and dental schools across the United States including Washington University.

Cusp services are provided by master dental technicians, many formally trained and educated in Japan. We are proud of its deep rooted Japanese heritage. It is the foundation of our commitment to superior quality. You'll find this sense of pride pervasive throughout the company and is a primary reason we deliver consistent products and services that exceed our clients' expectations.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Cusp Dental Laboratory. After a quarter century, we continue to proudly provide the newest precision technologies, esthetics, and highest laboratory standards. In addition, Cusp Dental formed ADES (Academy of Dental Esthetics and Sciences) in early 2014 as an educational division after years of actively participating in lectures and hands-on presentations. We are celebrating the anniversary with seminar events in Boston.

Cusp continues to forge ahead with proactive innovation and technologies for the changing dental industry. We actively seek opportunities to represent our craft at trade shows, clinics and educational seminars.
